Our sales team will be able to advise if we have a technician in your area, or when a technician will next be in the area.
We don’t just serve the UK, we regularly work in Europe, the Middle East and USA. If you have a multiple glass damage abroad, please contact us regarding our international operations.
How quick can you respond to my enquiry?
Our standard service is to respond to call back requests / emails within 1 working day. With telephone enquiries we can usually give you a quotation within 1 hour.
We can often undertake work within 48 hours of receiving your written confirmation.
If you are working to strict deadlines, we'll do our very best to accommodate.
How do I get a quote?
To get a quote, you can either call, email or use our enquiry form to let us know about your problem. Contact details can be found here.
A member of the Head Office team will be in touch with you, and will be able to provide you with a cost over the phone. This will then be followed up with a written no-obligation quotation.
How much does it cost to restore the glass damage?
We work in A4 areas for our glass polishing service, so to get an estimate of the cost we will ask you to count how many A4 pieces of paper would be required to cover all the damaged area(s).
For chips, cracks, shells and edge damage if a photograph can be sent in to info@scratchremovers.co.uk, we can 99% of the time advise you on the price there and then, or attach the image to our contact form.
If you are working on a large project, with multiple glass damage across a property or properties, please get in touch and we can discuss organising a free basic site survey and an estimated cost of restoring the glass.
What hours do you work?
Our office hours are 08.00 - 17.00hrs Monday to Friday.
Our technicians start work at 8am Monday to Friday, however we are pleased to offer an out of hours service, to help minimise disruption to your business. Please let us know if you require this service.
For next day jobs, where you need to contact us in an emergency before our attendance, we can be reached outside of this time on 07940056220.
How do we book in to get the work done?
To book in an attendance, we would require you to firstly fill in our online quote acceptance form. This provides us with all the details to ensure we have all the relevant information for our attendance, so it all runs smoothly. Once we have this in, a member of our team will be in touch to book this in for you. If you are working to a deadline please let the team know during the initial contact or in the other notes section of the quote acceptance.
What information do I need to complete my booking?
Our online quote acceptance will ask you the following information.
When can you come to site / my property? What is your availability?
We have a large team of technicians who work at Chicago Glass UK Ltd, and work on a live rota. In London and the surrounding areas, we aim to be with you within 48 hours of your quote acceptance (if this fits in with your schedule). When you contact us, our Head Office team will be able to provide you with our current lead in times.
How do I pay for the work?
If you do not have an account with us, we accept payments by debit/credit card over the phone once the works have been completed.
Where works are carried out across weeks, we will request payment weekly.
Can we open an Account with you?
If you are interested in opening an account with us, please contact us and ask for our credit account form. Once we have received this form completed into the office, our Accounts Department will process your request and will advise if you have been successful.
Do you have any accreditations?
Yes, we are members of the Glass & Glazing Federation (GGF), and hold CHAS, Constructionline and Builders Profile accreditations.
Can you fill in our sub-contractor form?
Of course, if you would like to send us a copy via email to info@scratchremovers.co.uk we can fill this in for you and return it back.
Do you work within my Sector?
We provide our glass polishing and restoration services to anyone facing a glass problem. Our onsite remedial paint repair service is provided at present to those working within construction/trade, facilities management and property management sectors.
I haven't received an invoice, can I get one sent to me?
We can arrange this for you, reach out to the team and we can ask our accounts team to send this out to you.
How long will the repair take?
This depends on the damage you have on-site, our sales team will advise you an idea on how long we will be on-site.
